The ATF Cup
The Shire's biggest day of football is back. Hundreds of kids and families fill the fields for one day of competition, teamwork and community pride. One day, one venue, pure football.
How the day works
- Every team plays 4 games, through a group stage and finals
- Games are two 15-minute halves
- Team entries only: players register in their 2026 season age group and play for one team
- Boots with moulded studs and shin pads are compulsory
- Coffee van, snacks and drinks on site
ATF Cup questions
What if the weather is bad?
The Cup goes ahead in light or moderate rain. If thunderstorms or lightning make it unsafe, games may be delayed or postponed. Updates go to team managers and ATF's social media.
Can my child enter without a team?
No. We only accept full team entries. Get a group together and register as a team.
Which age group should we enter?
The same age group your players are in for the 2026 season, so the competition stays balanced.
Can families come and watch?
Absolutely. It's a community day. Please cheer positively and respect referees, coaches and players.
Will photos be taken?
Yes. ATF's media team takes action shots and team photos. By registering, families consent to their use on ATF's website and social media.
